Only three weeks left to apply for Hafren Dyfrdwy Community Fund’s latest wave of funding
Monday 13 March 2023
There’s just three weeks left to apply for Hafren Dyfrdwy Community Fund’s latest wave of funding.
The water company covering mid Wales including Powys and Wrexham is calling on charities and non-profit organisations to apply for funding before the deadline of Monday 3 April.
The fund was in September 2021, to support new projects that will improve wellbeing within its communities, with the latest wave of funding opening back in January. Groups can apply for a grant of between £2,000 and £10,000 for new projects that aim to improve community wellbeing across three core themes:
People: Projects that help people to lead a healthier life and gain new skills;
Place: Ideas that help create better places to live in and use; and
Environment: Schemes that will help look after the natural environment, give people greater access to that environment or help look after water.
Jade Gough, Hafren Dyfrdwy Fund Officer said: “Making a positive difference to the local community is at the heart of everything we do at Hafren Dyfrdwy, and this latest funding round is a great opportunity for local groups and charities to secure funding for a new project that will have a wonderful impact in their area.
“The application window is already more than halfway through, so there’s only another three weeks to apply before the deadline. We’re encouraging groups to get their applications in as soon as possible or to get in touch with us if they’d like to find out more.”
