About Us
It’s really important to us to be right at the heart of our community, which is why in 2021, we launched our Community Fund, to give back to our wonderful customers and communities.
Over the last 3 years of the Fund we’ve awarded over £149,000 to 21 amazing organisations in our communities, through project funding or core costs support – read all about them here.
We understand many charities and groups need support with core funding to help them through the current cost of living crisis. So, we’ve committed to allocating this year’s £50,000 Community Fund to cover core costs for groups within the Hafren Dyfrdwy region that provide vital support for local residents, especially those most vulnerable, and who are finding it financially difficult to maintain their current activities.
If you’re unsure whether your organisation is within our region, you can check your address using Water UK’s postcode checker.
Eligible charities and organisations can apply to be considered for a restricted grant of between £2,000 - £10,000 for 1 year to help them and our communities get through this challenging time.
In line with the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act for Wales, we want to work together to encourage healthier and more cohesive communities.
This years Hafren Dyfrdwy Community Fund opens on Monday 7th October 2024, and will be open until the funding has been awarded. So that you have time to complete an application, 1 week before we close we will update this webpage with the closing date and notify all registered applicants by email.
