New water company, Hafren Dyfrdwy, is on tour in Wrexham this week
This week (commencing 21st January 2019) is Big Energy Saving Week, and new local water company, Hafren Dyfrdwy, is joining the Big Energy Saving Bus Tour in Wrexham.
On Thursday, 24th January, teams from the water company will be available on the bus at various locations to talk to customers about their water bills. Hafren Dyfrdwy is the new water company in the area after Severn Trent merged with Dee Valley Water and the team is keen to get out and meet their customers to explain what help is on offer.
Katie Wood, external relationships co-ordinator for Hafren Dyfrdwy, explains: “We know that sometimes people struggle with their bills, and this is something we want to help with. We don’t ever want our customers to be stressed or worried about their bills, and we want everyone to know that we’re here to help. There are lots and lots of schemes and plans that we have to help people if they’re struggling, and we really want people to talk to us before things get out of hand. So come and see us on the bus and see if we can help you with your water bill and lots more.”
The water company team, along with partners from other utilities and organisations, will be taking a vintage Routemaster bus on a driving tour around Wrexham, helping people to save money with their energy bills and to find out about lots of other local support services. The route on Thursday will be:
- 9 am - Caia Park - Community Hub
- 11 am - Bangor on Dee - Tourist Information Centre
- 1 pm - Overton - Village Hall
- 3 pm - Plas Madoc – Leisure Centre
